ARTIST CONVOCATION
Artists will have from May13th to the 31st to work on their piece so it can be exhibited on June 1st.
On June 5, together with 90 Fast Gallery, we will host an informative talk “Y A Mí De Qué $%& Me Importa El Arte” (“What The $%&! Do I Care About Art?”) with potential buyers and art investors in the attending crowd.

We are pleased to inform you that POLÍGONO “Art & Design” will be joining the CULTURAL RUNWAY OF ARTS that will take place in SAN MIGUEL CHAPULTEPEC, CDMX as one of the stations throughout the day.
We are extending an invitation to artists and designers to participate in an opportunity to create an art piece or object and take part in the experience of working inside POLÍGONO’s various workshops from the 5th of May to the 31st and exhibit the piece the day of the event that will take place on June 1st at POLÍGONO.
Ideas and concepts of the art piece should be presented before May 5th.
The selected artists will be announced on Wednesday, May 8th.

1. OBJECTIVE
We are extending an invitation to artists and designers to participate in an opportunity to create an art piece or object using Polígono's workshop, tools and equipment. The invitation is open for any creator, artist and designer interested in participating. A total of 15 artists (national and international) will be selected to take part in the project and will have the opportunity to work and exhibit their art in Ruta de Galerias 2019.
2. TIME PERIOD
Deadline to send project requests is May 5th 2019.
3. FINANCING
Art exhibition in Ruta de Galerías at San Miguel Chapultepec on June 1st, free use of workshop area and equipment. 4. REQUIREMENTS
ARTIST'S CV: Attached in email, PDF file with artist's CV. 2MB max.
PICTURES: Picture of artist/artists. Used for archives, info and publications. JPG or PNG. 2MB max.
BIOGRAPHY: Brief biographic description or artist's profile. Please include career history, interests, academic history, scholarships and/or awards. (500 characters max).
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Brief project description: themes, concepts and techniques used in project (750 characters max).
PORTFOLIO: Series pictures including past works. Fifteen (15) images max . 2MB max per image.
5. SALES AND FEES
Selected artists will not be charged for the use of space during and after the exhibition. Polígono will charge 30% of the total sales only if a piece is bought during the time of exhibition.
Materials used in the creation of the pieces will be covered by the artist.
If necessary, Polígono will be offering some basic materials with an additional cost.
